Big Buckles series is now in Santa Fe at Globe Gallery

I am happy to share that my latest series, Big Buckles, painted while in residence at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA) last winter. They are now installed in my gallery in Santa Fe, NM. Please stop by the Globe Gallery or take a peek on the website.

These ten new paintings on panel and paper were inspired by the place and stories which I explored and uncovered while tucked away in the misty Blue Ridge Mountains. The threads which bind together to make a painting are always a surprise waiting to be uncovered. Many connections I make within the local community are layered and woven together with my choice of colors, type of text, and materials used.
