artist statement
My studio practice pushes the boundaries of abstraction, drawing deeply from my firsthand observations of natural environments, local cultures, and the personal stories shared with me while traveling. I work across painting, printmaking, photo transfer, sculpture, and textiles, often allowing two or more of these mediums to intersect and generate new forms.
