artist statement

My paintings are abstracted translations, shaped by years of travel, the stories I have collected, and the memories that continue to stay with me. Inspired by firsthand observations of natural environments, local cultures, and shared personal narratives, each work transforms experience into something both intuitive and evocative.

Working across painting, printmaking, sculpture, and textiles, I allow mediums to intersect and generate unexpected forms. My studio practice pushes the boundaries of abstraction with the intention of evoking surprise, stirring memory, and eliciting response.
