MIni Maxi Artist Residency

I had a wonderful opportunity to paint plein air at Willowtail Springs Artist Residency in Mancos, CO. The setting was totally Colorado; only 11 miles from Mesa Verde and miles of folk art. Beautiful Wolf Creek Pass was nearby and glowing with fall colors and full of leaf peepers. I was so lucky to have share time at Willowtail Springs with a dear artist friend visiting from the East coast. In between painting, we canoed on the lake, had coffee on the deck watching the sunrise, and walked under a ceiling of never ending stars.
