NEW ZEALAND!!

You might really want to think about adding it to your bucket list!

What a fabulous trip we enjoyed Down Under to New Zealand! The country was overflowing with summertime beauty and earthly delights beyond your wildest imagination. The hills and valleys were green and packed full of grazing sheep. The mountain air was crisp and totally invigorating. In the evenings you could count a million stars and see the Southern Cross.

In three fast weeks, there was hiking, kayaking, biking, arting, swimming in the mountain lakes, feasting on green-lipped mussels, wine tasting, picnics on the beach, home style bbq plus making many new Kiwi friends.

This was a vacation not an artist residency so no art was made. However, I did collect hundreds of wonderful images, ideas, and soaked up the language and culture.

Back in the studio now and with panels prepped I am painting and downloading my translations of I encountered into paintings for you.
