Denver University Art Collections Aquisition

Wonderful news to share with you! Denver University Art Collections has acquired my painting, Inheritance, as part of the Permanent Collection. I am thrilled at having my work join such an esteemed institution and collection.

Inheritance was inspired by my autumn travels throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland. I discovered the beauty of the island by trekking along the shores and into the dense and lush glens speaking with locals as much as possible. The painting shows the deep greens and heathered blues which were everywhere. My signature style mark making seen painted in Inheritance, depicts the lively Irish pubs, music, street art, and festivals I came upon at each turn. 

Having been invited to install a solo show of work, Between Continents, for the 2022-23 season at Denver University Dean's Gallery was such an honor. Returning as an MFA alumna filled me with joy and many memories of great years spent on campus as a student and later as an Adjunct Professor.
